ABS Global is pleased to announce John (Jack) Hippen has been named the ABS North America General Manager.

“Jack’s 20 years of agriculture industry experience and strong background in sales, marketing and customer relations make him an asset to our team,” stated Bill Christianson, Chief Operating Officer of Genus Americas.  “We are excited to have him working with our ABS North America team and look forward to working with him on the continuous development of our business.”

Hippen has worked in various roles within the dairy industry including holding positions within both the A.I. industry and for a milking equipment company.  In his roles, he has worked with new product introduction, product management and customer relationship management tools.  Hippen has previous experience with ABS as he served as the Product Manager from 2002-2003.  Most recently, he has been working with an administrative services company targeted in assisting small business operations, including farmers.

Hippen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Edgewood College.

As the North American General Manager, Hippen will be utilizing his extensive industry knowledge and motivating personality to lead the ABS North America team.  He will monitor all aspects of the North American business and assist in the analysis of current company operations and strategic planning.  He will be based in the DeForest office.
